Dax is the daughter of Ember and Jasper and is a powerful little package. She has beauty, brains, and a can-do attitude. Dax is our first multiple Best in Show winner. She has taken 2024 off from the show ring to focus on having puppies!
She ended 2023 ranked #2 All Breed, #4 Breed, in the Top 15 of herding dogs, and Top 100 dogs in the nation. She achieved Platinum Grand Champion status in 2023 becoming our second Platinum Grand Champion and our first female GCHP!
Nobody could be prouder of Dax's accomplishments than the late Fran Withers. She believed in this girl from the moment she was born, and a special moment was in April 2023 she won her third Group Best in Show with Fran's family in attendance at the Progressive Dog Club of Wayne County under Judge David A. Alexander. This win made her the top winning bitch in breed history and the top Group Winning bitch in breed history.
On March 10, 2023, Dax won her second Best in Show under Mrs. Donna Buxton at the Boca Raton Dog Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. She won three Group Ones the same weekend under: Mr. Kerry Lee of Australia, Mrs. Donna Buxton, USA, and Dr. Michael Woods of Canada.
Dax has won four Best in Shows, Six Reserve Best in Shows, Best in Specialty Show, 42 Group 1st, Select Bitch at 2023 MASCUSA Nationals, Select Bitch at AKC National Dog Show in 2023, and Best of Opposite Sex at WKC in 2023. Dax's show career has been a joy to watch. She is a fierce competitor and loves the ring. She steps aside to show us what she can produce in the whelping box.
She was a Top Ranked MAS for breed and the Number 1 female all breed for 2022. She won more group placements than any other MAS for 2022.
Dax's first litter is another history-making event. She will be bred to our frozen semen for Remi, combining two Best in Show winners in this breed. We expect great things from this litter and our next generation of Best in Show winners!
Dax is residing in Florida with her co-owners, Arvind and Joyce DeBraganca.
