Dynasty's Ziggy Stardust FCAT4, TKI, "Ziggy" earned his FCAT4 recently! Ziggy has an invite to the 2024 Fast CAT Invitational for the MAS for being in the Top 5 fastest dogs for 2024. We are so proud of the great job that Ziggy and his owner Tina have done. Good luck at the Invitational!
Dynasty's Premium Batch CDX BN RE FDC CA BCAT CGC TKN "Basil" is from the Kash/Nova litter from 2019. Basil, at the age of 4, competed in his first AKC Rally Nationals. He was invited previously to Rally Nationals and Obedience Nationals, but this was his first opportunity to attend. This event is a lot of stress on the dogs as there are 6 back to back rings going on simultaneously. Basil handled this two-day event like a pro, coming in 7th in the Advance class, losing only 4 points in 3 performances!
Dynasty's Blue Flare, RN, OA, AXJ, XF, CA, FCAT, ACT2, CGC, TKI, FTN "Sora" got his Fetch Intermediate title! He is from the Blaze/Kenya litter! Great job team.
Dynasty's Stella Cascadia, BCAT, DN, CGCU, TKA, VHMA, VHMD, FITB "Hoku" celebrates being the fastest U Fly Ball MAS! Hoku is from the Halen/Maisel litter. Great job by his owner Rae Lei and Hoku!
Please meet Dynasty's Hidden Treasure AKA Swag (Kane/Rosie). His AKC titles include MX MXJ MXF T2B2 FCAT CGC TKA and he is currently working on his MACH and Farm Dog titles. He also has titles in CPE (Canine Performance Events). At this time, C-ATCH and is working towards his C-ATE.
Even at eight years old he is a speedy guy and enjoys running and having fun, but he knows how to chill as well. We are so fortunate that he allows us to be his partners in life. We love him.

Our three dogs are not only beautiful pets, but love performance sports. In fact, all three of them beg every day to train.
Dynasty's Fire in the Hole CD BN RE OA OF NAJ CA BCAT ACT2 CGC TKN "Ryker" (Bootsie X Blaze) is six years old. His top love is Agility, which he currently is competing in however, he has competed in Obedience, Rally, Trick Dog and Coursing. In Rally, he was invited to the AKC National Rally Championship and has almost completed his Rally Master title. In Obedience, Ryker easily earned his Novice and Beginner titles with several first placements. Ryker is trained through Obedience Open level, but currently is focusing all his show time on agility.
Dynasty's Premium Batch CD BN RE CA BCAT CGC TKN HIT (herding instinct tested) "Basil" (Nova X Kash) is four years old. Basil loves Herding and Coursing, but his current focus is the Obedience ring. He finished his Obedience Novice title with two High in Trials with near perfect scores. He currently is competing in Open, where he has one leg towards the title and achieved this with a very respectable score of 194½. Basil earned many placements when competing for his Rally titles.
Dynasty's History of Magic "Booker" (Maisel X Halen) is almost two years old and has been taking obedience and agility classes from a young age. He has high drive and will start competing in Coursing in 2024 and hopefully will make his Agility debut also in 2024.
Sue, Bud, and Lindsey Goetzinger
Dynasty's Truly Amazing, BN, CD, CDX, UD, CGC, CGCA, CGCU "Maisie" (Kizzy x Desi) has lived up to her name! These titles were all accomplished before Maisie turned three years old. I am especially proud of her UD title. I know handlers who have given up after showing dozens of times trying to get a UD. I had a judge who told me he had shown over a hundred times and still didn't have his dog's UD. We achieved her UD in seven tries.
I love this dog beyond reason, and she is so smart.

Dynasty's Arrow Dynamic, FDC, CAA, FCAT, CGC, DJ, DS, TKA, ATT is from the Tanzi and Levi litter from June 2022. He has really started to tap into his drive in teenagerhood and is enjoying many different dog sports! He found a love for dock diving with the warmer weather and earned his DJ earlier in the year, then finished off the season with a DS title and a personal best jump of 19'9 feet - big hops courtesy of Grandpa Remi! He celebrated the week of his first birthday in June by earning his Herding Instinct Certification, Farm Dog Certification, and passing the AKC Temperament Test all in one day. We started running Fast CAT recently and he has his FCAT and CAA, he gets quicker every event and is starting to stack up personal bests. Another one of his absolute favorite games to play is UpDog, the disc sport! We are doing weekly agility classes, and he amazes me with how quickly he learns new skills, he is almost ready to trial at an intro level. He's incredibly smart and creative and I'm hoping to add a Performer level trick dog title on top of his TKN, TKI, and TKA before the end of this year. I am excited to see what we can accomplish in the 2024 season as he matures!

Suki is my Miniature American Shepherd from Dynasty Minis. She has enriched my life so much since I picked her up in September 2021. I found Dynasty Minis through much research all the way back in 2017 when I was interested in this breed. After three years of following them on Facebook, I decided to reach out to Kim and was drawn to the breeding program and commitment to breed excellence. I did lots of research on breeders and looked at a few other kennels but kept coming back to Dynasty Minis. I knew my first puppy had to be from them!
Suki was born by Cardi x Russet a year after I reached out. In the beginning I wanted a blue merle girl, but Kim encouraged me not to worry too much about color and I trusted her to match me with the right puppy. When I went to pick Suki up from the airport, Kim even said she was so sweet and wished they were keeping her!
Suki was my first puppy and I thought I was really prepared, but the puppy blues did hit me. Looking back Suki was a great girl, and my friends who had raised puppies before said she was very chill and sweet, but the responsibility of having a little baby relying on me (I raised her alone) and the sleep deprivation that came in the first few months hit me hard! However, Suki learned fast and turned out so well and that is due to the excellent breeding practices by Dynasty Minis.
Suki is everything I could've asked for. I live in NYC and she has adjusted so easily to life in the big city. She makes people smile everywhere she goes. She is very well socialized thanks to a great head start in her first two months with Kim and nothing scares her or really bothers her. The vet and groomers compliment her temperament all the time. When I go on walks with her, we are stopped all the time by people calling her beautiful. The dog walkers love her. She's so chill and easygoing and never complains about anything. She can snooze during a busy work day, but be ready for a full day of hiking or a night out at the bars with me. She is incredibly smart and has picked up all the tricks I taught her quite fast and is very eager to learn.
She is so friendly and loving and everyone who meets her falls in love with her. Her best quirk is that she loves to go between people's legs when she's excited! I love her so much and cannot imagine life without her.
Thank you Kim for matching me with such a perfect pup!

It all started with Simba from the Elektra x Epic 2019 Litter…
Mom & Dad said I should probably tell you a little story about my name. My fabulous breeder, Kim, named me. Little did she know my name would be the additional push my parents needed to say yes to adopting me. You see, their black bi-color Miniature American Shepherd, Kiley, died unexpectedly on 9/16/19. She was their kid in every way, as my parents can't have kids. She was 10½ years old. They say she was a stinker cause Kiley hid her illness from them. I've heard my mom picks up on every little thing, but not this until the end. Anyway, Kiley had metastatic cancer all over but her liver and spleen primarily (hemengiosarcoma). She was sedated for emergency surgery, so she never felt the pain of her oversized spleen that was about to rupture. Their little girl didn't make it. Mom's sister, Kathi, directed Mom to Dynasty Minis. They thought it was too soon to get me and my Uncle John, who had known Kim from Aussie Rescue, pushed in a nice way, "Chill boys like Simba don't come around that often. Y'all need to get him." Add: Simba was the BEST decision. He's been the BEST boy and healed our hearts. We truly believe Kiley special-ordered him for us.
A year later, I (Kimberly) stumbled on a post by Kim about Elektra, Simba's Dam, looking for a retirement home. Were we ready for a girl again? I couldn't think of a better one to have than Simba's mom. Would they get along? Would their four-year age difference be an issue? Gray wondered if we could handle two dogs. I knew we could, as Kiley would hang out with my sister and her MAS, and taking them out, etc was never a problem. I contacted Kim and she said she thought Elektra would be fine and we'd just have to make sure she had times of respite from play since she's older. We picked her up the day after Thanksgiving 2020. We also got to meet Remi that day. Little did we know the role he'd play in our dog's lineage. We'll never forget Simba's reaction to her when we picked him up from his stay with Poppa John. We took him to the car to place in his kennel, and Elektra was in her kennel, and he gave us one of his sideways glances as if to say, "Who dis? Is she permanent?" Ha! We didn't want our boy to feel slighted, not being the only spoiled child anymore, but we also knew how great he was with other dogs. He's adored her from the moment we arrived home. Maybe a little too much that first year, as he still had puppy in him and always went for her ears to tug. We made sure she had plenty of respite. Today, he no longer tugs at her ears and you'll usually find them together seeking respite (in the same position) from our younger two. Elektra has been a fabulous add to our mix. We're so thankful for her and her legacy.
Fast forward to October 2021… Fran posted pics of the Cooper x Peri Litter and Gray felt a pull to inquire about a little girl named "Boo" with a tail. He really felt that we were supposed to get her. He felt it would give Simba a pup closer to his age and he could leave Elektra alone. We checked in with Fran. The entire litter was gorgeous and they were sweet pups. We met beautiful Ember (turns out she's Simba's aunt, as she's Epic's sister, but we didn't realize that at the time we met her), Sweet Sienna, and of course, Boo and her littermate Tabitha was also being picked up. We fell in love with the tiniest, sweetest fluffball. We named her Bella and occasionally call her Bella Boo. When we made it home and introduced Simba and Elektra to her, she was a hit. They were so gentle with her, due to her size and she ran circles around them playing. Bella is a cousin to Simba, as they share the same great-grandmother. We didn't realize it at the time, but have since discovered that. We also didn't realize Remi is Simba's uncle, but he is. We love discovering the bloodlines and connections. She's been a great addition and just like Simba and Elektra, she's very sweet (with a side of spice!).
Little did we know we'd have four dogs. We thought Simba would be the one and only, but we had to get Elektra… then Bella… then Sam. Our family is a testament of how much we love Kim and Fran and Dynasty Minis. Elektra may be the only official Grand Champion in our crew, but in our hearts, all four are Grand Champions, and we cannot imagine life without them! We tell Elektra all the time she has an impressive legacy and we've got two boys from her bloodlines. We have two blue Merle girls, a red Merle, and a black tri. Only a few more and we'd have one of every color. We're stopping at four. I will say we never went for color as we know a lot of people do. We went for temperaments. We knew we weren't going to have show dogs. I (Kimberly) also knew my days of attempting agility trials were over. I only did it with the first Aussie I owned. I may do informal dog agility in our backyard where each dog will get a gold star and have fun while burning up some energy. We've enjoyed seeing each personality and learning each dog and what makes them tick.
Thank you will never be enough! These breeders are amazing at what they do. Their dogs are amazing and we'll continue to shout their praises even long after they retire, which will be sad, but understandable when that time comes. Thank you Kim and Fran. We so love our dogs and the joy they bring to us, one another, family, friends, and neighbors.
Kimberly & Gray Absher
I only ever wanted one dog, but seven years later, I currently own three Dynasty dogs. Mia, Panda, and Ruckus have many things in common, but the most important things to me are temperament and intelligence. All of my dogs are extremely friendly and love people. They enjoy playing with my nieces and my friends' children (Mia and Ruckus have even spent time at school with me curled up with my high schoolers). Their biggest fan is my 92-year-old grandmother, who tries to convince me after every visit to leave one of them with her. All three love sitting at her feet, getting lots of love. Mia is the boss of the crew, helping to teach Ruckus manners around the house and spending as much time as she can in the pool. Panda is extremely agile and a social butterfly. Ruckus is my first performance dog, earning his championship before his first birthday. Ruckus has shown promise in many different events. He enjoys Fast CAT, has started agility and Rally classes, shown interest in scent work, and earned some trick dog titles. With a ton of drive and intelligence, all three also have an off switch, and enjoy an evening curled up on the couch with a human. Together the dogs have traveled thousands of miles with me, visited many different wineries, historical locations, and hotels with me. Not only have they become my faithful companions, through them I have got to network with many other great Dynasty owners and meet so many other motivating "dog people". Not only do you get an incredible dog, you gain the knowledge and experience of Kim and Fran! Without them, Ruckus and I wouldn't have been able to gain five titles in my first year as a handler of a dog the caliber that Ruckus is. I look forward to what I can accomplish in the future with everyone's support.

The baby Memos is 2!! Blows my mind. Took us ten years to be ready for a Bravo baby. And then maybe six months to wait for this particular special litter. I remember when they were being born, and Michael Waller said "The last born will be a blue Merle and it'll be a male." Sure enough, last born pup! So blessed to have this boy. He is everything we could have ever possibly wanted. So excited for his agility future, his contacts are getting close to competition ready! It's going to be a very fun year with him.
Jennifer Waller, Tanzi/Epic Litter
I sought out an MAS with the primary goal of learning to show dogs, lifelong dream of mine that I was finally ready to realize in middle age. I already owned an Aussie that I compete in a variety of sports with, so I asked to be matched with a conformation prospect who also had drive for sports. My hope was that I could potentially put titles at both ends of my future dog and enjoy "doing all the things". After a couple months of patiently waiting (and Facebook stalking litter announcements), I was told that a puppy was ready for me. I named my little tri boy Tupelo, after the honey (and my favorite Van Morrison song). His name turned out to fit him well, because he is sweetness personified. We started training on day one and he has absorbed everything like a little sponge. He was THE star puppy in his AKC Star Puppy class and has been handling his handling classes like a pro. He's almost ready to take his CGC test and we will be starting barn hunt classes next week and rally this spring. He did his first "bunny hop" Fast CAT this winter and loved it, and I'm currently looking in to herding lessons locally. It doesn't matter what we do, he's happy to be doing it together. He's just a happy little guy all around. I joke that his theme song would be "Everything is Awesome" from the Lego Movie because that's how he seems to feel about life. As far as he's concerned there are two kinds of people in the world: his best friends, and his future best friends. He's super gentle with children and the elderly and loves to snuggle anyone who will allow it. We entered our first BPUP show in November, and he took a herding group 1 his first day out. Since then, we've shown at Royal Canin and Brooksville and he's handled himself well in crowded venues. I'm excited to see how he does with some maturity under his belt (and once his handler -me- has some more experience under hers). I couldn't be more pleased with my puppy and am looking forward to many years of "doing all the things" together.
Meg Noel, Tanzi/Levi Litter
Tanasi n Dynasty's Stormborn First of Her Name CGCA TKP BCAT NA NF RN DN "Maisel" (a Blaze daughter) is a red-headed spitfire with a big future! In the conformation ring, she is AKC-pointed over specials. She earned four Trick Dog titles during the COVID lockdown. Post-quarantine she's earned Dock Diving & Rally Novice titles, Canine Good Citizen & Advanced certifications, and her BCAT title (averaging 24 mph). She is an active member of the Erie Ultimate Disc Dog team, competing in Toss N Fetch leagues. Her main sport focus is agility, where she runs fast and furious, letting her mom know when she's not keeping up! She quickly earned her Novice Standard and FAST titles with multiple first-place runs. She recently entered her first Barn Hunt trial and won two first-place searches in the medium class with a High In Class award. She's also shown herding instinct on sheep and will be participating in more herding clinics and scent work this winter.

It was a wonderful stroke of luck and pure happenstance that my wife and I found Dynasty Minis with Fran and Kim. It was approaching the 2-year mark since we had to part with Jewel, a 15½-year-old Jack Russel. There was a void and we were ready for another family member. Temperament, demeanor, intelligence, love and loyalty were at the top of the list for traits we were looking for. After much research, and the Miniature Aussie/American Shepherd breed seemingly always coming up in our research, we started looking into finding a breeder and a pup. We found Dynasty online and really liked what we saw, so my wife phoned Fran in Michigan. They talked at length and we were somewhat let down to learn no pups were currently available. Fran encouraged us to fill out and send in an application. A litter was anticipated in early spring. My wife and I separately filled out applications without conferring with each other and submitted them. Shortly thereafter, we received a phone call from Kim in Georgia. Again, we spoke at length about everything from our lifestyle to what we were looking for in a pup and moreover, an adult dog. Kim informed us she thought she had a male pup that would be a really good fit. I have to admit, I was hesitant to even consider allowing someone to "pick out" a pup for me. I had no idea this sort of procedure even took place. My wife and I talked it over and decided to go with Kim's advice. Long story short…best decision we could have ever made. His name is Tater and he immediately stole our hearts. He is so full of love and loyalty at such a young age, it is hard to believe. By 11 weeks old, giving "cues" that he needs to go out to do his business. We took Tater to the vet the day after we returned home as he was due for his second vaccination. Our vet was absolutely impressed with Dynasty Minis' total approach. She commented how "refreshing" it is to see a breeder that is "conscientious and passionate" about puppies. We can't thank Kim and Fran enough for bringing Tater into our lives. He is a joy…and we are lucky to have him.
Thank you Dynasty,
Mike and Michaele McPeek
My husband and I would like to share the experience we had with Fran from Dynasty Miniature American Shepherds. In one word: awesome! Fran went above and beyond helping us choose the right puppy. We put it in her hands and she chose the perfect puppy for our lifestyle. Her name is Skylar and she is a joy, she loves everybody and every dog she meets. Fran helped us with training along the way, I texted her many, many times to make sure I was doing things correctly and if not, Fran guided us. We are over the moon with Skylar, we take her everywhere we go and that is exactly what we wanted. You can't go wrong with Dynasty Miniature American Shepherds!
Thank you Fran!

We just could not possibly LOVE Miss Bonnie Blu any more. The moment we saw her, we fell in love and she climbed right into my son Lukas' lap as if she knew she was meant to be with us. Although Fran was loathe to let her go to a regular "pet" family, we can promise that she is certainly not just a pet. She is an incredibly intelligent, loving, funny, athletic, and integral part of our family. She is by our side, with her furry brother Max, in everything we do. She fits perfectly into our active, busy life with 2 teenage boys. She loves to hike and swim and I truly can't remember how I kept my lap warm before her! If I'm sitting down, she is in my lap. Thank you Fran and Kimberly for giving us such an amazing dog! We are part of the Dynasty family furever now.

My relationship with Fran Withers, co-owner of Dynasty Miniature Americans began in fall 2015 when I inquired about getting a puppy. I was very interested in Remi, Dynasty's BIS winning special and hoped to have a puppy from him. As some point though, I told Fran that she knew what my goals were, and if the right puppy came along, I trusted her to pick it for me. And along came Epic! Both Fran and Kim have been absolutely fantastic to work with. They have supported us in everything we have done so far, they have been great resources for problems and/or concerns, and they have both been our biggest fans as Epic moved quickly to becoming a champion. If you are looking for an intelligent, fun-loving, energetic bundle of happiness, I recommend Dynasty's Miniature American Shepherds - they will not disappoint!

When my husband and I finally decided that the time had come to get a dog, we sat down and made a list of traits that our ideal dog would have: medium-sized, smart, very athletic and easily trained. When Rio came home with us, she not only stole our hearts in mere minutes, but also proved to be everything that we had ever dreamed of and beyond. She was potty trained in days and as we went through the obedience courses with her it was obvious that it was going to take a lot more than learning to heel or do tricks to stump her. She has graduated "doggie valedictorian" from every class. She has taken and took to agility like a duck (or aussie?) to water, but Rio's true passion is running. Starting with slow short jogs on grass as a puppy and working up as she got older, Rio now accompanies me on 6-10 mile runs early in the morning 5 days a week. She gets so excited when she sees me lace up my running shoes that her whole body wiggles. She is without a doubt the perfect running partner and once we're finished, she's content to snuggle on the couch.
When we have doggie-playdates with our neighbors, everyone always comments that Rio is the best-behaved dog there and she always sits politely near me or my husband while we are talking to other people. Because she is so well behaved, she gets to go everywhere with us: from downtown Savannah to kayaking adventures to out of town vacations. We got more than we could have ever dreamed of when Rio became a part of our lives: a well-mannered sweetheart with plenty of energy to keep up with us who is eager to please. We couldn't imagine a better dog!

Here are a couple recent photos of Kimble. He loves to jump up on the trampoline to be with the kids...or by himself. He is admired at the dog park and we always get compliments on his colors! He is the sweetest dog ever and very smart. I can't express enough how much joy we receive from having Kimble in our family. He is a blessing and we are so fortunate to have found such an excellent breeder. Thank you for all you do to ensure such high quality standards with your litters.
